In order to join the group and the adventure you will need to have at least one character, in this small guide we will list what you will need in order to provide an application of said character(s) in order to get them checked and approved.
Visual Application
- The visual application requires a waist up, full color reference of the character. Any styles, there’s no shading or rendering requirement.
As long as we can see what your character looks like, that is perfectly acceptable.
- Please do not worry about “skill”, style or anything at all. If you are not an artist you can always ask someone else for help or commission the image of your character, just make sure to have permission and properly credit your artist.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) imagery is, however, forbidden within the group and use of AI “art” for the visual application will be an instantaneous decline.
- The day time version of the background is for playable characters, night time is for NPCs, please don’t use the night version for playable characters.
- You will find two different banner options in there: Region and Spirit.
- At this moment the only region available is Reverie, as the group and story progress the other regions will unlock and the app template will be updated.
- For the spirit banner please leave it as the blank while applying, should the character be accepted you will be indicated which Soul Affiliation your character has and which banner to use.
Written Application
- You can decide to host your written application in either GoogleDocs or Toyhou.se.
- For GoogleDocs we have an already made template should you wanna use it or the plain text if you prefer doing it yourself.
- If you wish to get a Toyhou.se code please let Cherry know, there’s a few available if you would like to try it.
- Please make sure you fill out all the basic information asked for in the documents, you may add extra information if you wish but the ones already listed are required.
- You can check our Character Creation, Magic & Stats and Weapons & Armor guides for specifics on what is allowed for characters.
- Make sure to leave the “Soul Affiliation” and “God Bond” blank at the moment, once your acceptance message arrives we will let you know what to put there.
Sending in an Application
Once you have your visual and written application you will have to wait until our “App Submissions” channel in the Discord server announces applications are open. When it opens please fill in the following form and send it as a message in there, please no other chatting in that server to keep it clean.

Upload the visual application along in the same message.
Please give the mods a few days to look over your characters, we will message you with one of the following:
Acceptance message: Congrats! Your application has been accepted and requires no fixing at all. Extra information about the status of your character’s soul will be provided and you can start RPing as soon as the chats open.
Small fixes message: Not to worry, your application just needs a couple of tiny fixes before being accepted. Please don’t stress, these fixes are usually all about wording or certain spells needing a different House Affiliation. Please let the mod who contacted you know once it’s been fixed so they can look over it once more.
Declining message: We don’t really expect this to happen as we’re not that strict about applications but should your application have substantial fixing to be done or there’s multiple instances of breaking our rules we will have to decline it. You’re free to apply once again a week after.
